For medico-legal reasons test results will not be given over the phone. Patients need to make a follow up appointment to discuss their results. Exceptions are made for PAP smear results, pregnancy tests and where prior arrangement is made with the doctor. Check with your doctor about other exceptions to this arrangement.
Any patient with abnormal test or investigation results will be contacted by phone or mail and recalled as deemed necessary by the consulting doctor.Nursing staff and reception staff do not give out results unless authorised by the doctors.
