In South Australia you are asked to declare whether you are taking medication, or have a medical condition, that affects your ability to drive when you apply for, or renew, your driver’s licence.Based on this information you may be required to undergo a medical examination with a medical practitioner to confirm your fitness to hold a driver’s licence.
CHRONIC DISEASE MANAGEMENT
For those who suffer from diabetes or other chronic medical conditions our practice offers GP management plans to assist in the maintenance of your health condition. By doing this we are able to refer you to a preferred Allied Health provider under the governments Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) program. This program allows you to have up to 5 Medicare rebateable services per calendar year with an allied health provider.
