Consultations

Consultations are by appointment only except for accidents and emergencies.  Our surgery operates on the system called “Better Access” which means we try to have most of the appointments available”on the day” when patients need to be seen. Hence some appointments are pre-booked. Patients are requested to inform the staff if it is an urgent matter, so that we can prioritise their appointment.Generally new appointments are allocated 20 minutes and regular appointments are allocated 10 minutes.

Patients can “Prebook” annual check-ups, an appointment for several problems, Medicals for Insurance, Drivers licence etc. and minor surgical procedures in advanced with the doctor of your choice. If you think these appointment might take longer that 10 mins please advise the staff when appointment is being booked. If you are unable to attend your appointment, please let us know so that we can accommodate another patient.

To reduce your waiting time for your appointment you can do the following

• – Ring 10 minutes before your appointment to confirm the time.
• – Make sure that you make a long appointment if you need more time.
